The beautiful thing about nature is that it is effortlessly beautiful and calming to the mind. That’s one of the reasons having plants at home is always an excellent idea!

While there are hundreds of varieties to choose from, there are a few things you need to consider when adding a bit of mother nature to your space. 1. Aloe Vera Plant:

It’s beautiful. Literally :P Not only does it make the perfect decoration for your living room, but it can also be a part of your hair and skin care routine. Such a win win situation don’t you think?

2. Lucky Bamboo:

This plant doesn’t ask for too much care, but it definitely adds a vibrant touch to your space. Grows in indirect sunlight and just needs to be kept in a water vase. Easy peasy!

Pothos enjoy diverse environments and bright indirect sunlight. They can be grown in vases of water so that’s makes it easier to place near your desk to add some happy vibes to your work from home routine. 4. Snake Plant:

The definition of easy plant décor, the snake plant would make a wonderful addition to any home! A popular choice for many to place in their spaces, the snake plant can tolerate low as well as bright light. It should be watered when the top inch of the soil is dry but ensure not to overwater it.

The best feature of the snake plant is that it also acts as a natural air purifier by absorbing toxins through the leaves and producing pure oxygen. Let’s just take a moment to appreciate how utterly cool that is!

5. Basil:

Add some statement to your kitchen windowsill and have some to decorate on your pasta. Basil is a wonderful multitasker! These fragrant leaves love light from the sun and a warm cozy temperature. Make sure you keep it moist, and you are good to go!
