FISSMAN presents a traditional Serbian hatchet knife made according to the ancient knife forging technique, which is native to the Balkan Peninsula.
The basis of the design is the San Mai steel pie, the core of which is made of hard, high-carbon AUS-8 Japanese steel, surrounded by softer layers for greater strength and durability of the blade. The ergonomic handle made of premium G-10 material is equipped with three rivets and provides a comfortable and secure grip.
Serbian knife comes with original leather sheath to protect the blade. The sheath can be attached to a belt for easy carrying when working outdoors. Ideal for chopping and cutting meat, bones, steaks, fish, vegetables and fruits.
• To prolong the service life of the hatchet, it should be washed by hand.
• To prevent discolouration of the blade, wash the hatchet immediately after use. Food particles will not dry out and it will be easier to clean.
• Handle the ax with dry hands only, otherwise you may get hurt on the blade.
• To keep the blade in perfect sharp condition, use the special FISSMAN tools and accessories (whetstones).
• High carbon steel - do not leave wet for a long time!
• We recommend using a whetstone for sharpening. • After sharpening, rinse with water and dry immediately with a clean cloth. • Do not wash in dishwasher. • Please follow the recommendations for care, and the hatchet will serve you for a long time.
